Tickets

A ticket represents one issue being tracked for work by Membrane Software. Each ticket is associated with a particular feature, and is shown in a list on that feature's information page.

Tickets can belong to one of these types:

Development
Work primarily involving effort in software engineering and programming
Creative
Work primarily involving effort in content authoring
Bug
Work to address reports of incorrect behavior by Membrane Software applications
Idea
Work primarily involving research, feasibility studies, and design outlines
Task
Work primarily involving effort not covered by other ticket types

Tickets can be in of one of these states:

Proposed
An idea that hasn't yet been worked on
Working
A work in progress, with active development efforts directed towards its completion
Suspended
A work in progress that isn't currently in active development, but is planned for implementation later
Cancelled
An idea that has been abandoned and probably won't be revisited
Complete
A work item that has been implemented and released, usually as part of published updates to Membrane Software applications

Other ticket attributes include:

Priority
The ticket's precedence relative to that of other tickets, ranged from 1 to 21
Size
An estimate of the ticket's required amount of work effort relative to that of other tickets, ranged from 1 to 21
