• More secure: Membrane Monitor and Membrane Media Library now support an optional admin password. By using Membrane Control to set a server's password, you can prevent unauthorized access to its functions. Note that this locking does not depend on creating any kind of account or signup with an internet service. The entire mechanism and its data are self-contained within your own computers.
• More flexible: Membrane Media Library's stream creation function now supports a set of quality options: Normal (match original), High, Low, Lowest. The High option results in a somewhat smaller file size for about the same picture quality, while Low and Lowest drastically reduce file size by dropping the picture quality. Using these options, you can reduce network throughput requirements for streaming, as well as storage requirements for holding stream data.
